Switchvox: Call Forwarding
If you're going to be away from the office for a while and would like to forward calls to another colleague or your personal cellphone, follow these easy steps to enable call forwarding:
- Log in to your Switchvox as your extension.
- Go to the Answering Rules tab.
- Click on Add New Rule Set under Unanswered Call Rule Sets.
- Give it an appropriate name and save.
- With the dropdown, select Call Cascade (for an external number) or Call Forward (for an internal extension) and Add Rule.
- Input the phone number you'd like the system to forward your extension's calls to, including any dial out digits like 8 or 9 (example 94168002691), and Save.
- You have now successfully set up call forwarding!
