Add functionality to your Norstar or Meridian 1 phone system with these peripheral products. Increase your efficiency without the expense of upgrading.

Algo

Algo Duet Plus All-Purpose Ringer

An all-purpose signaling device compatible with most telephone systems, replacing dozens of single-application products. Features loud station ringing, night bell, voice paging (3.5 watt), indoor or outdoor use, strobe compatibility (model 1126), adjustable warble tone and volume, a compact 3.5 by 5.5 inch footprint, 94 dBA output as a standalone (112 dBA with an 8 ohm horn), an included power supply, and approval for use with Norstar systems.

Algo Talking Duet Plus

Similar to the Duet Plus, but allows users to program their own voice message, music, or sound effect to play instead of a warble tone. Features loud station ringing, up to a 16 second message, a compact footprint, activation by dry contact closure, CO ring voltage, low voltage, or audio detection, and a 1 year warranty.

Algo Door Entry Phone (Doorphone)

Lets you grant or deny access and communicate with visitors. A visitor outside a locked door or gate presses a call button that rings through to your telephone system; whoever answers can talk with the visitor and release the door or gate by pressing a button on a standard telephone keypad. Features a durable weatherproof door station, distinctive ring capability, selective ring persistence, and built-in door control providing dry contact closure to activate a customer-provided door strike.

Algo Handsets

Original Northern Telecom handsets modified with push-to-talk or push-to-mute switches inside. Available in chameleon grey, dolphin grey, black, and red.

Algo AuxBox

Monitors the activities of a Meridian digital telephone, allowing the use of external devices such as loud ringers and indicator lights. It also provides a digital-to-analog interface for voice recording or amplification. In noisy factories or warehouses, the AuxBox can activate external ring indicators such as strobes or loud ringers to signal an incoming call or message waiting, and can output to a voice amplifier for loud paging.

Algo Desktop Visual Indicator

A versatile visual indicator ideal for call centres and busy offices where headsets are in use and you need to show co-workers that the operator should not be interrupted. Designed for use with the 4100 AuxBox, it has four distinctive light patterns and can act as a ring indicator or message waiting indicator.

MCK

Module Extender (Trunk/Station Module Extender)

Extends Meridian 1 features and applications up to 3 km from the KSU. It ensures every workstation has the same access to voicemail and ACD wherever it is located in the building, using fiber to provide a secure, reliable, cost-effective long-distance link between your Meridian 1 KSU and the Meridian 1 station or trunk modules.

EDAC (Expandable Digital to Analog Converter)

Enables M2000/M7000 telephone users to integrate voice record/monitor equipment. EDAC units offer expandable configurations, are wall or rack mountable, and are compatible with 115V or 230V power supplies. Configurations include the EDAC Base Unit (12 expansion slots or 8 relay-configured), the EDAC Single Port Card (records 1 digital telephone), the EDAC Dual Relay Card (contact closure for 2 ports), and the DAC 4E 911 (interfaces up to 4 ports). Also compatible with Lucent, Aspect, and NEC.

Knowledge Center (Complete Telephony Integration)

Turns PBX operators into knowledge workers, enabling a single operator to handle significantly more calls per hour. A personal computer replaces the PBX console, giving operators instant access to databases of requested information. It consolidates telephone operations in a central location, uses a simple Windows visual interface, is scalable and flexible with continuous updating, and can register employees' temporary absences in a network database.
