Norstar Date and Time Programming

There are a couple of different ways to access the time change feature, depending on the type of system you have. After you enter programming mode, all methods are essentially the same.

Important notes

• The 308 and 616 KSU can be programmed with any style Norstar telephone.
• The M8x24, Compact ICS, and Modular ICS KSU must be programmed with an M7310, T7316, or M7324 telephone. An M7208/T7208 will not program these systems.

Accessing the programming menu

Use one of these access methods:

• Access type 1: Press FEATURE * * TIME (8463), or
• Access type 2: Press FEATURE * * ADMIN (23646). When the screen displays 'Password', enter 23646.

Changing the time

1. The display shows '1. Sys speed dial'. Press NEXT.
2. The display shows '2. Names'. Press NEXT.
3. The display shows '3. Time and date'. Press SHOW.
4. The display shows the current time (e.g. 'Time 16:24'). The soft key under the display reads CHANGE. To change the time, press CHANGE; if not, press NEXT.
5. After pressing CHANGE, the hour displays. To change the hour, press CHANGE; if not, press NEXT.
6. After pressing CHANGE, the hour is erased, allowing you to enter the new hour in 24 hour format. When done, press NEXT.
7. The minutes display. To change the minutes, press CHANGE; if not, press NEXT.
8. After pressing CHANGE, the minutes are erased, allowing you to enter the new minutes. When done, press NEXT.

Follow the same procedure to change the date.
